As Albatros, we operate with a horizontal organizational structure of eight equal partners, far from traditional hierarchy. Our team, specialized in software development, design, and analytical thinking processes, is a rich mosaic of professionals from different disciplines, competencies, and areas of interest. Gökçe

Internal Coordination Lead

Bringing together her academic background in mathematics and analytical mindset with the IT sector, Gökçe is responsible for the internal coordination and process management of the Albatros team. With her belief in the power of teamwork and creating shared values, she leads the processes of optimizing workflows, removing operational obstacles for her teammates, and increasing internal efficiency. With her belief in our cooperative business model, she continues to add value to the innovative structure of our organization.

Barış

Requirement / Business Analyst

After graduating from the IT department, Barış Taşkın combines his experience in business analysis with his passion for software development, and has specialized in building bridges between technical teams and users. With his ability to approach processes holistically and transform complex needs into understandable solutions, he takes an active role in designing workflows and developing Python-based applications. Following his experience in large-scale corporate structures, he met the Albatros team on his self-taught learning journey and came to believe in the transformative power of a cooperative work culture. With his belief in solidarity and creating together, he continues to add value to our horizontal organizational structure and our approach to collective production.

Onur

Software Developer, Operations Research Analyst

Over the years, he has developed software in various languages such as Java, C#, C++, VB, and TypeScript; currently, his focus is largely on agentic AI systems and LLM-based applications. He believes in open-source culture and knowledge sharing, and is not hesitant to share what he has learned. His background in operations research and mathematical programming gives him an advantage in developing AI solutions for optimization problems and decision support systems.

Ahmet

Software Developer, Social Scientist

Combining his passion for software development with a critical perspective on existing relations of production, Ahmet Gire approaches his work with technical depth as well as a principled stance. He has worked for many years on various technologies, primarily Java, blending his PL/SQL experience with a curiosity for new languages. Following his experience in large-scale corporate structures, he believes that a human-centered and transparent working environment—one where production is not reduced to a mere logic of corporatization—produces higher-quality work. With his belief in the horizontal and solidarity-based structure our cooperative business model offers, he contributes to the Albatros team by focusing on the power of creating together and generating shared value, beyond concepts like "performance" and "efficiency."

Business Development Specialist

Graduated in Computer Engineering from Karadeniz Technical University, she has over 16 years of experience in the information technology sector. She began her career as a software developer and later assumed roles as a team leader, software manager, and senior project manager. Today, she specializes in digital transformation, banking technologies, and large-scale system integrations. She has extensive end-to-end project management experience in digital banking, mobile and internet banking, card payment systems, and regulatory transformation initiatives. Most recently, she has led projects focused on the modernization of digital channels, the enhancement of card payment systems, and the transformation of critical banking infrastructures. As a working partner and Business Development Manager at Albatros Information Technology Cooperative, she contributes to helping organizations achieve their digital transformation goals by delivering reliable, sustainable, and innovative technology solutions.

Necmi

Software Developer, Data Analytics Specialist

Necmi is someone who always strives to understand the bigger picture before diving into a problem and is never afraid to ask, “Why?”. He prefers listening over speaking, believing that understanding different perspectives leads to better solutions. He has spent many years working on large-scale backend systems and distributed architectures. More recently, his focus has expanded to technical leadership, fostering collaboration across teams, supporting the growth of fellow engineers, and improving software engineering practices. He values open communication, continuous learning, and knowledge sharing, and believes that great engineering is built not only on the right technology, but also on strong teamwork and a healthy engineering culture.

Batu

Software Developer, Integration Expert, Performance Tuner

A software developer with enough experience in the IT industry to understand that building high-quality software involves much more than writing code. It requires understanding the problem, careful attention to detail, and disciplines such as design, proof of concept (PoC), implementation, clean code, security reviews, automation, testing, maintainability, and documentation. Primarily works on RESTful APIs, service orchestration, application architecture, system integration, and DevSecOps practices. Has experience across finance, e-commerce, and R&D, while also developing solutions within cloud ecosystems. Prefers using AI tools because they enhance productivity and performance. Believes that, as in many fields, success in software development is built on good intentions, positive communication, and humility. Values openly acknowledging when something is unknown and considers the willingness to listen and continuously learn to be one of the profession's greatest virtues.

Project & Product Developer, Communications

Bringing together his academic background in economics and strategy with his long-standing experience in ecology and permaculture, Alper Can Kılıç believes in the transformative power of collective production and being a community. Producing as a permaculture designer and instructor since 2009, Alper Can blends his experience in communication, content, and photography with a cooperative work culture. As a working partner of the Albatros team since 2018, he keeps the principles of our cooperative business model alive and contributes to the innovative story of our organization. Sustaining his curiosity across ecology, technology, literature, and economics, and valuing the sharing of what he learns through training sessions and workshops, Alper Can acts with his belief that creating together generates shared values.
